Badlapur Movie Review - Varun Dhawan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Here is the list of Movie Reviews of the Film Badlapur by Top Film Critics. Check it out...

Badlapur Movie Review by Taran Adarsh on Twitter

“You need a strong stomach to absorb the revenge saga #Badlapur. The premise may be simplistic, but the twists/turns are unconventional. Sriram Raghavan stays true to its genre. The dark goings-on may make you uncomfortable, while the tension keeps you on tenterhooks”

Badlapur Movie Review by Times Of India (TOI) – 4/5 Rating

“Badlapur is a gobsmacking movie that suffuses on screen – a deftly written story, spectacular performances and an intelligently layered screenplay. What works best here is the film’s unpredictability. From the minute it begins, you’re latched to your seat with your heart throbbing in your mouth and your throat frequently choking up. For the sheer impact the movie conjures up, writer-director Sriram Raghavan deserves a bow”

Badlapur Movie Review by KoiMoi.com – 3.5/5 Star

“What’s Good: Badlapur is a complete performance driven film. It is one of the best neo-noir representation in Indian cinema. The film has the right amount of gore and will leave its bitter taste on your tongues.

What’s Bad: After being glued to your seats for the first half, the film loses its grip in the second half to a dragged ending. Also the vengeful story lacks a little luster in terms of a complete revenge climax.”

Badlapur Movie review by Bollywood Hungama- 3.5/5

“On the whole, BADLAPUR offers you cinematic excellence with a rider that there’s violence and gore, which may not be everyone’s cup of bitter coffee. You shall be treated to truly unforgettable performances by Nawazuddin and Varun Dhawan. It is a film that will find patrons amidst the multiplex crowd. And yes, it is a film that will continue to live-on in the minds of cinema lovers for a long time to come.”

Badlapur Film review by Emirates 24*7 – 4/5 Star

“What sets ‘Badlapur’ apart from other revenge films such as ‘Ek Villain’ is a layered subtext that throws up quite a few surprises, yet manages to to humanise one man’s pain into a slice of realism that could very well happen even with you.”

Badlapur Movie review by India TV

“The revenge saga has got a new dimension in Badlapur and its director Sriram Raghwan makes sure he keeps you on tenterhook with its dark story. The director undermines the conventional hero-villain norms in Badlapur and makes a cracking psychological thriller. Badlapur is a psychological roller coaster. It’s a brilliant cinema that would change the meaning revenge thrillers.”
